Own Your Encore

Arrived London Heathrow and using my Oyster card took the Piccadilly line to Gloucester Rd and by noon was in my hotel.

Adjusting to my new time zone so staying up and compiling this post at 10 pm London time. Pleasant weather, 67° for my mid-day walk around Kensington.

Decided to visit the V&A Ceramics floor. The ceramics floor has rows and rows of cases six shelves high to display their ceramic collections.

My specific search was for ‘delft tulip vases’ and similar… luckily they have computer access to tell you where to find an item.

I found multi necked flower vases and a flower pyramid

Later in the evening I was back at the V&A for an after hours members book launch lecture and wine reception… I needed that! The book sounds facinating. I will post the lecture here when I receive.

Tomorrow to the Tate for Singer Sargent and other wandering.
