    Last week I started a 4 week class with Cynthia Armstrong – Seascapes! First lesson – CLOUDS. We were shown a demo and a few techniques for capturing cloud shapes and now practice, practice, practice. Here are the first attempts with lofty hopes of improvement.

  • Complex Scenes

    Complex Scenes

    Now working on some techniques for painting complex scenes. This marina is a challenge in compostion and use of color to highlight the boats in the front of the scene. Each attempt gets a little closer [newest first below]. Painting along with a Shari Blaukopf online instruction.
